Dan grew up outside Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a neighborhood “Good News” club when he was in junior high. Dan graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Social Studies Education, then earned a master’s degree in Higher Education from Iowa State University. He coached high school and college football for 25 years. Dan is currently employed as a teacher by Wapakoneta City Schools and is also the area director for District 8 Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Dan and his wife Kim moved to Lima from St. Louis in 1995 and have attended Grace Community ever since. They have two daughters, Meghan (married to Logan) and Emily (married to Justin).
