Pastor Gordon grew up in the town of Wethersfield along the Connecticut River. He attended Grove City College and earned a history degree in 2009, then departed for Trinity Evangelical Divinity School to obtain a Masters of Divinity in 2012. During the summers, he worked for a Christian ministry camp in upstate NY where he met his wife, Mary Elisabeth. After graduating and marrying, he was called by Ouray Christian Fellowship — an EFCA congregation Colorado — to serve as pastor. In July 2021, after nine years there, he accepted the call from Grace Community to serve as Senior Pastor. While he has many interests — music, woodworking, and others — Gordon’s chief love is to rejoice in and display the glory of God by preaching, teaching, and discipling others. He and Mary Elisabeth have two children — David and Kelli — and thank God for the opportunity to live for Him and love others in Lima, OH.
